Who We Are

SFS High School Telam, premier English Medium School in the small hamlet of Telam was established on 28th August 1982 with 12 students. Fr. Mathew Puthumana msfs, pioneered the wave of education in this remote place. SFS High School Telam, was raised to the status of a High School in the year 2002 with the bold step of Fr. Tommichan Moonnanappallil and in 2005 the first batch of Class X students passed out of SFS School, Telam. From the number of 12 students, the School now caters to the needs of 1100 students. St. Francis De Sale High School, Telam, presently know as 'SFS High School'. SFS School is a coeducational Catholic Missionary School under Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA). It is run by the Dibrugarh Province of the Missionaries of St. Francis De Sales, know as MSFS or Fransalians. The School is managed by the Bishop of Tezpur, under a registered charitable society under the Soceity's Registration Act of 1860.
